Jesus came to us and died on the cross to bring Glory to Himself as God.
It brought Him glory to redeem us to be His sons and daughters and free us from the law into a new convenant of forgiveness.
On our end, through His death and resurrection, He provided a way for us to be in direct relationship with God, and become holy to stand in God's presence.
